About Your Doula
Care rooted in presence, respect, and lived experience.
Peony Prenatal, Birth & Postpartum was founded with the belief that every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and respected throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
My work as a doula is grounded in compassion, advocacy, and a deep understanding of how meaningful it is to feel seen during life’s most vulnerable transitions.
My Approach to Care
I provide doula support that is:
Client-centered
Trauma-informed
Respectful of autonomy and informed choice
Grounded in evidence-based education
Rooted in calm, steady presence
I believe my role is not to direct your journey, but to support your decisions with clarity, care, and respect.
You are the expert of your body and experience.
I am here to walk beside you.
What Guides My Work
My approach to doula care is shaped by:
Lived experience
Professional training and continued learning
A commitment to culturally responsive care
An understanding of the emotional and physical complexity of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum
Care should feel human — not clinical, rushed, or dismissive.
Advocacy & Support
As a doula, I support families by:
Providing unbiased, evidence-based information
Encouraging informed decision-making
Supporting communication with care providers
Offering emotional reassurance and grounding
Respecting each family’s values, culture, and preferences
Support looks different for every family, and I honor that.
A Commitment to Accessibility
Peony Prenatal, Birth & Postpartum is committed to making doula care more accessible through:
Medicaid-supported doula services (when eligible)
Transparent communication
Respectful, judgment-free care
Everyone deserves support that honors dignity and autonomy.
Working Together
Choosing a doula is a personal decision.
If you’re seeking care that is compassionate, steady, and grounded in respect, I would be honored to support you during your pregnancy, birth, or postpartum journey.
